BUSINESS HOURS/RESPONSE TIME
Service Hours - all days, weekends, and holidays are open for bookings

BOOKING PROCEDURES
Booking Procedures
1st Time Clients
After initiating contact via my website, email, or text a “meet and greet” will be arranged to make introductions and review care instructions (this meeting is free of charge)
Non Recurring Service
CCC will invoice client via text confirming service, dates, and logistics
Booking is only considered scheduled once payment is received via PayPal
Dates are not held in the interim while CCC is awaiting payment
Recurring Service
CCC will send to Client each Sunday a weekly invoice via text, confirming that week’s upcoming booking schedule with an invoice amount
Service is considered booked and confirmed once payment is received
Payment is due that Sunday via PayPal for that weeks booking by 5pm ET
If payment is received later than 5pm ET, CCC can not guarantee that booking’s confirmation/spot
CCC WILL NOT reach out to Client for payment reminder after the initial invoice has been sent
CCC WILL reach out to Client once payment is received via PayPal to confirm payment and booking status
PAYMENT PROCEDURES
Payment Policies
Payment is due in full for all services before service commences
Payment for recurring services (walks/drop in visits occurring on a weekly basis) will be invoiced to Client each Sunday, and money is due by 5pm ET that Sunday for service beginning that week.
Payment is accepted via Zelle & GooglePay
Payment account information will be shared at time of invoicing
Bookings are not considered scheduled, confirmed, or on CCC’s calendar until payment in full has been received
Time slots are only held until 5pm EST. If payment has not been received by that time, the Client’s times lot will be released to other paying clients.
Should your time slot be released, and you then remit payment (after 5pm), CCC will still perform service at a time for their convenience. Should Client not want service at that time, and ask for the walk to be cancelled, NO refund will be given
CCC will not send reminder notices for payment - the onus is on the Client to remit payment on time in order to secure booking
Invoices/receipts will be included with daily or weekly report cards for Client records
Client is also welcome to pay early for weekly service and to pay in advance for other future service
CANCELLATION PROCEDURES
Cancellation Policies
Guiding Principle: I believe in mutual respect, consideration, honesty, transparency and reliability. As I provide these tenets within my services, I also ask the same from Owners and Clients. As a single operator, once I have booked/scheduled you for service, I have removed that space and time from other potential clients from my calendar, turning away other opportunities and income. Good faith emergencies absolutely do happen, and in an emergency a full refund will absolutely be given.
Examples of emergency situations constituting a refund outside of normal cancellation policies include (but are limited to): unscheduled/emergency hospital visits (for owner or pet); severe illness; accident; or sickness; death, and other emergency situations should they arise
Examples of non-emergency situations not constituting a refund outside of normal cancellation policies include (but are not limited to): cancelled vacation/travel plans due to other reasons not listed above in the emergency situations section; changing work schedules (or working from home last minute); etc
Should for any reason, CCC not be able to perform service due to an emergency, I will notify you ASAP and issue a full refund. To this date, I have not had to cancel or reschedule service due to an emergency on my end.
Notice: I request that you please provide ample notice from your end when you know you will not need service. The sooner, the better. Likewise, when I need time off for a vacation, I will give you at least two months lead time ahead of my vacation.
Multiple Cancellations (for recurring service ): If Client and CCC have agreed to an established recurring service (ie: dog walks every M-F at 9am), then both Client & CCC mutually agree to be available to one another at agreed upon dates & times. CCC schedules/plans for such bookings and counts on Client to adhere to this booking agreement, as CCC removes itself from offering that time slot to other Clients. If CCC observes a more consistent cancelation or rearrangement of this agreement, CCC will ask Client to reassess their current booking schedule to ensure both parties time are being adequately served.
Multiple Late Payments (for recurring service ): If Client and CCC have agreed to an established recurring service (ie: dog walks every M-F at 9am), then Client agrees to pay within established payment times. CCC schedules/plans for such bookings and counts on Client to adhere to this payment agreement, as CCC removes itself from offering that time slot to other Clients. Invoices are sent each Sunday morning for that week’s service. Payment is due by 5pm EST. Should payment be received late by Client two times, CCC will remove Client from their recurring service and no longer offer services to said Client.
To Avoid A Fee/Forfeiture of Funds, the cancellation policy is as follows:
These policies assume cancellations are being requested for non-emergency related reasons
This policy is waived for legitimate emergency reasons as established in the “Cancellation” Policy above
Notice is established as “X” amount of days before the 1st day of service is to occur
Once a Service is Booked
For Non-Recurring Dog Walking & Drop In Services (including Puppy Services) - does not include clustered 3 or more visits per day (which are categorized as housesitting visits)
14 day notice (non holiday) - (100%refund issued)
21 day notice (holiday rates) - 100% refund issues
no issues will be refunded without 14/21 days notice unless qualifying emergency applies
For Recurring Dog Walking & Drop In Services (including Puppy Services)
If you are regularly scheduled on a recurring basis (ie: every Tuesday and Thursday) and need to make a change to that service, please advise me ASAP on the Saturday prior to the week that a booking needs amending. Otherwise, on Sunday, when I send you a booking for that week, I am assuming you will need me as regularly scheduled.
Housesitting (or 3 or more clustered drop in visits per day)
21 days (non holiday) - (100% refund issued)
30 days (holiday rates) - (100% refund issued)
no issues will be refunded without 21/30 days notice unless qualifying emergency applies
Lock Out/ Faculty Key or Other Access issues arising from Client (applies to all booked services): You will be charged in full for any visit when CCC is not able to gain access to the residence from any access issues arising from Client (ie.: missing key/lockbox/faulty code, etc) & will be recharged for a subsequent visit if the keys/entrance access is rectified and Owner wishes for a return visit to be completed, and with CCC’s schedule permitting. CCC will make all good faith efforts to reach out to client upon arrival should any access issues occur at the onset of the scheduled visit.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
During severe weather, I will make every attempt to carry out my sitting services. I have not yet cancelled any service due to weather. If roads are expected to become heavily impacted or there is severe weather impending , I will try to visit at times before the weather makes landfall. Cat sitting tends to be more flexible, but of course, dogs need a certain schedule. I will communicate with you on best options, and offer to bring your pet to my home in the event I will not be able to make it to yours.
LIABILITY
Liability, Service, and Others Accessing Your Home: CCC will not perform service if anyone other than the pet family/owner is present during scheduled service time and has not been previously cleared with CCC. This includes friends, neighbors, contractors and any one else I have not met prior to service who will have access to your home. Not only is this a safety issue for CCC, but it impacts my liability to you, your home, and pet. My liability insurance becomes less enforceable if others have access to your home during periods of my visits. I strongly recommend rescheduling any contractors, s services, or others that might need access to your home in your absence. I will also clarify during our intake process if others besides CCC will have a key to the home. I highly encourage camera systems, and am comfortable with them.

How Was Your Experience?
1st time or 100th time receiving services from Critter Crew Care? I'd love to hear your feedback about all aspects of your experience.
This picture was taken near Pier 39 in San Fransisco on my last corporate work trip in 2018. Being near the water; the whales; the sea lions was incredibly relaxing. After 15 years serving high profile executives, I was burnt out and unfulfilled. Animals had always brought me joy. So, I decided to turn that joy into full time self employment.
After 30 years of owning cats, dogs, birds, fish, ferrets and being an avid scuba diver, I changed course.
I volunteered with cat & dog rescues, worked in dog daycares and other platforms before launching Critter Crew Care in 2020. And, I'm so glad I did.
Looking forward to taking care of your crew soon.
